We hope it doesn’t happen, but if you should get ticketed, the fees are:

$2.00 For a meter violation
$10.00 For parking in a restricted zone
$25.00 For double parking or at a fire plug
$50.00 For illegally parking in a handicapped space

Deposit your payment in the envelope the police provide in one of the yellow “Fine-O-Meter” boxes along the street or mail it in.

If the fine is not paid within the allotted time, meter violations increase to $25.00 and all other fines will be doubled. Where a vehicle remains in violation for more than an hour, another ticket may be issued.

Vehicles which violate the rules in the parking lots or the deck may be towed at the owner’s expense.
